Court denies request for expedited hearing immigration law

A few comments: State's case did not meet the compelling standard for an expedited hearing. Good. There is never any rush to enforce an unconstitutional law. Yet another indication that this horrible, hateful law is doomed. Actually, I think it has more to do with the Appeals Court deciding that this case isn't so important as to barge in front of other cases that have been waiting longer. |
